Role Overview
As an Optical Dispenser, you play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the correct eyewear solutions. You will interpret ophthalmic prescriptions, deliver, adjust, and repair eyewear, directly supporting our patients¿ vision needs. Your work enhances their quality of life and aligns with our commitment to exceptional care.

What You Will Do
- Interpret ophthalmic spectacle prescriptions and eyewear orders accurately.
- Properly deliver, adjust, and repair eyewear for patients.
- Complete all required training courses as directed by Henry Ford OptimEyes.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous computer experience and basic math skills.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience.
