MA, EMT or previous ED experience required

Role Overview: As an Emergency Room Technical Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in delivering patient-centered care under the direct supervision of registered nurses or providers. Your work ensures patients receive timely and compassionate support during their most critical moments, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Emergency Department.

What You Will Do: - Assist with patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice. - Support registered nurses and providers in delivering timely and effective emergency care. - Ensure a safe and compassionate environment for patients during their visit. - Contribute to the smooth operation of the Emergency Department through teamwork and collaboration. - Complete a 180-day orientation period to fully integrate into the role.

What You Will Need: Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED equivalent. - BCLS certification. - One of the following: B-EMT certification, completion of a formal Medical Assistant program, completion of a formal nursing education program, completion of a formal medical doctor education program, OR one (1) year of applicable Emergency Room Technical experience (must complete applicable certification/program within 12 months of hire). Preferred Qualifications: - Previous Emergency Department Technician or Medical Assistant experience. - EMT license.
