Role Overview

As an RN-Ambulatory, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You¿ll utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. This role supports patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring clinical competence and effective communication in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

What You Will Do

  • Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families.
  • Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient education.
  • Effectively communicate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current clinical knowledge in your area of specialty.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification per Henry Ford Health policy.
  • Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred experience in the specialty.
