Registered Nurse, Clinical Coordinator - Stepdown

Henry Ford Warren, Full Time Days.  Some weekend and Holidays required.

Role Overview

As a Clin Coor- IPD Nursing, you will provide essential clinical support at the unit level, ensuring seamless patient care throughout their hospital stay. You will assist with direct patient care, coordinate bed utilization, and coach staff in clinical practice and customer service. Your role is critical in maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment.

What You Will Do

  • Assist with direct patient care, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Assess patient conditions and complete clinical tasks such as IVs and blood draws.
  • Respond to clinical emergency situations and resolve issues that impact patient safety and service.
  • Coach unit staff in clinical practice, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
  • Coordinate bed utilization within inpatient hospital patient care units.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Two to three years of relevant acute care nursing experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Michigan Nursing License.
  • Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Critical care/Stepdown experience preferred. ACLS required.
