Role Overview: As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in delivering compassionate and quality patient care. You will support providers and nursing leadership by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience. Your contributions are essential to the efficient operation of our healthcare services.

What You Will Do:
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and document vital signs, contributing to patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and readiness.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient care delivery.
What You Will Need:
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years, OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.

Additional Information
Must have previous family medicine experience. Experience in phlebotomy, medication/immunization administration, POC testing, blood pressure measurement. Able to multitask and be self-sufficient. Is self-motivated and works well with his/her team in a fast-paced environment. Able to work late night and alternating Saturday hours.
