Role Overview
As an Optical Lab Manufacturing Tech, you will play a crucial role in the Henry Ford OptimEyes finishing line, ensuring the production of high-quality eyeglasses. Your work directly supports our patients by providing them with the vision solutions they need, enhancing their quality of life. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and precision of our optical lab operations.

What You Will Do
- Perform manual manufacturing duties for the Henry Ford OptimEyes finishing line.
- Follow process instructions to produce finished eyeglasses.
- Execute machine commands on screens using basic computer skills.
- Handle small tools and parts with dexterity, such as screwdrivers and frame screws.
- Understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions accurately.
- Work independently as needed to meet production goals.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Basic computer skills, including reading and executing machine commands.
- Dexterity to handle small tools and parts.
- Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in an Optical lab.
