Job Description
**Environmental Services Associate I**
The Environmental Services Associate I performs essential custodial and sanitation services under the supervision of the Environmental Services Management Team to maintain Henry Ford Health Health locations in accordance with established standards and protocols.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain assigned work areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition according to facility standards
- Perform routine care and maintenance of assigned equipment to ensure proper functionality and longevity
- Utilize supplies and materials efficiently and in accordance with established procedures
- Execute a range of custodial duties across multiple locations to maintain sanitation, organization, and operational readiness
- Interact professionally with patients and staff in a high-visibility role, maintaining appropriate conduct and demeanor
- Deliver consistent, professional customer service aligned with the organization's "Patients First" commitment
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- Custodial experience preferred.
- Must be able to interact directly with patient population, job requires high visibility.
- Must exhibit consistently high level of customer service and 'Patients First' sensibility.
