Role Overview

As an LPN at Henry Ford Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider. Your work will directly support patients and the healthcare team by ensuring the effective implementation and evaluation of nursing care plans. This role is essential in maintaining clinical competence and delivering compassionate care to our patients.

What You Will Do

• Use sound nursing judgment to provide nursing care under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider.
• Perform a variety of technical and routine nursing services.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care plans.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in all nursing activities.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam for the LPN.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous ambulatory nursing experience.
