Role Overview

As a Clinic Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless registration and check-out process. You¿ll support clinic staff, medical professionals, and patients by managing administrative tasks, verifying insurance, and handling financial responsibilities. Your role is vital in creating a positive patient experience and maintaining efficient clinic operations.

What You Will Do

  • Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate registration and insurance verification.
  • Handle cash collections and discuss general financial responsibilities with patients.
  • Reconcile patient charts and manage discharge processes efficiently.
  • Assist with preregistration and connect patients to the Customer Service Center as needed.
  • Work collaboratively in a team setting to meet clinic staff and patient needs.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform calculations, complete forms, and utilize computer information systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating software, email, and logging in/out of systems.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with a clinic environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
