Role Overview

Full-time Speech Language Pathologist with specialization in adult voice, upper airway, swallowing (VUAS) and language disorders to work a split position between ENT and Neurology Departments. The position involves participation in ENT/Speech interdisciplinary VUAS diagnostic clinic as well as working with adults with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient setting. Experience performing video fluoroscopic swallowing studies and videolaryngostroboscopy preferred.

What You Will Do

• Provide clinical services to individuals with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct diagnoses, evaluations, therapy, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Supervise clinical fellows in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program.
• Successful completion of the National Praxis Examination.
• Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting.
• State of Michigan license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence by ASHA.
