Role Overview

As a Patient Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide basic patient monitoring and support, contributing to a calm and secure environment. Your presence and assistance are essential in maintaining the well-being of our patients during their stay.

What You Will Do

• Remain at the bedside of your assigned patient at all times, unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Assist in calming and reorienting patients experiencing agitation or confusion.
• Remove visible hazards and broken equipment from the patient's environment and report as necessary.
• Record all observations accurately and promptly.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention.
