Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. Your role is critical in ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals, making a direct impact on patient outcomes and experiences.

What You Will Do

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• One to two (1-2) years as a Lactation Consultant/Specialist preferred.
