Role Overview

As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and monitoring during hemodialysis treatments. Working under the supervision of nursing staff, you will ensure patient safety, communicate critical information to the healthcare team, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care of dialysis patients. Your work directly supports improved patient outcomes and quality of life.

What You Will Do

• Monitor patients during hemodialysis treatments to ensure safety and comfort.
• Communicate patient status and changes to the appropriate team members.
• Assist nursing staff in providing direct patient care during dialysis sessions.
• Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Complete required documentation and maintain patient records accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Greenfield Health Systems dialysis training program within 18 months of hire.
• Certification as a dialysis technician within 18 months of hire, in accordance with federal regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant (NA), Medical Assistant (MA), or other healthcare experience.
