**What You Will Do**

• Provide first-line management and clinical leadership to a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, MAs, and LPNs in the oncology infusion setting.
• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, with specialized focus on oncology infusion therapies.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families receiving infusion treatments.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, healthcare team, medical group leaders, and oncology physicians to ensure a quality practice setting and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in planning and budget development for the clinic/department, including resource allocation and staffing needs.
• Demonstrate clinical competence and effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
• Oversee adherence to oncology infusion protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements, including chemotherapy handling and administration guidelines.
• Mentor and develop nursing staff through ongoing training, competency assessments, and professional development opportunities specific to oncology infusion services.
• Monitor and evaluate quality metrics, patient satisfaction scores, and clinical outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement evidence-based practices.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care delivery.
• Respond to and document adverse events, medication errors, or patient safety concerns, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a collaborative interdisciplinary approach by coordinating with oncology teams, pharmacy, and other departments to support comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
• Two to three (2-3) years of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
• Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory Orientation.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
