Job Description

Henry Ford Jackson Hematology Oncology is currently recruiting a full-time, board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist for its busy, well-established practice at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.

 

The cancer team at Jackson include medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, and surgical specialists. Clinical Nurse Navigation, Social Work, Infusion Nurses, Medical Assistants, Dietician, Financial Counselor, and administrative support are also critical parts of the team.  The team provides both hematology and cancer care with precision medicine, clinical trials, and enhanced support services.  The office is conveniently located on campus at Jackson Hospital and features an attached infusion suite.  The highly motivated team of cancer providers utilizes a personalized, innovative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and evaluation of outcomes.  As part of Henry Ford Health - Cancer (HFH-C), we encompass a team approach to cancer care and can access more advanced treatment options such as Phase I clinical trials or tertiary specialty care at Henry Ford sites located throughout Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan while still providing community care close to home.

Qualifications

  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program
