About the Department

Clinic Service Representative – Northsite GYN Practice - Days

Under general supervision follows standard operating procedures for all patient registration activities including patient reception, face-to-face check in and check out, preregistration, insurance verification, cash collections, chart reconciliation and patient discharge. Actively contributes to an organizational culture committed to the highest degree of service excellence standards to all customer groups.

We are seeking a candidate who is proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a busy environment while maintaining a positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate will be committed to teamwork, excellent customer service, and supporting the growth of the practice.
Prior experience in a medical office, ambulatory care setting, or physician practice.
Strong customer service and patient relations skills.
Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, registration, and electronic medical records (EMR).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities.

As a Clinic Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. You'll support clinic staff, medical professionals, and patients by managing registration, insurance verification, and financial responsibilities. Your role is essential in maintaining an organized and efficient clinic environment, contributing to our commitment to service excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate registration and verification of insurance information.
  • Handle cash collections and discuss general financial responsibilities with patients, connecting them to the Customer Service Center when needed.
  • Reconcile patient charts and manage discharge processes efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with clinic staff, medical professionals, and patients to meet diverse needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence by providing exceptional customer service to all patient groups.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform calculations, complete forms, and extensively utilize computer information systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage frequent interruptions.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating software, email, and logging in/out of systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with a clinic environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
