Role Overview

As a Home Care Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through comprehensive assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment programs. You will support patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Your work directly impacts patient outcomes and their ability to live fulfilling lives.

What You Will Do

• Assess patients¿ functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients¿ independence in daily activities.
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and home safety.
• Monitor progress and revise treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist program; Bachelor¿s or Master¿s degree required.
• Licensure in the State of Michigan as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Michigan driver¿s license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Home Care experience preferred.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist program; Bachelors or Master's degree required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Licensure in the State of Michigan as an Occupational Therapist required.                             
• Requires valid Michigan driver's license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan.                                                                                                          

• Home Care experience preferred.
