Additional Clinic Coverage (Travel Required):
- Fairlane Center – 19401 Hubbard Dr., Dearborn, MI 48126
- Potential coverage at Columbus Center – 39450 W. 12 Mile Rd., Novi, MI 48377
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Four (4) 10-hour shifts
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership. Your responsibilities will include both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and supportive patient experience. This role is essential in assisting providers during examinations and procedures, while also maintaining a welcoming and efficient clinic environment.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and document vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, following established protocols.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR
Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR
Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
