Job Description

 

  • Contingent Position
  • Schedule: Midnights (6p-6a), 20 weekend shifts per year (12-hour shifts)
  • 2 holidays per year
  • No call required
  • Inpatient only
  • Will consider new graduates willing to train to full-time for success and new graduates with ICU experience as RN

What You Will Do

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat inpatient patients in collaboration with attending physicians and the healthcare team
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans
  • Perform procedures as per credentialing and experience
  • Coordinate care to achieve optimal patient outcomes safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive inpatient care

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

 

  • Master's degree in nursing (NP) or Bachelor's degree/AMA-approved Physician Assistant program (PA) with current state licensure and national certification (CNP or NCCPA).
  • Current RN license (NPs) or Michigan state licensure (PAs).
  • Current BLS and ACLS/ATLS/PALS provider certification as required by department.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience in Cardiovascular Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care, or Urology.
