Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Join our food service team and play a vital role in nourishing our patients, employees, and visitors! Working under the direction of department leadership, you'll be at the heart of our healthcare operation—preparing and serving quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and serve meals with care and attention to detail, ensuring patients receive proper nutrition and dietary accommodations
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, employees, and visitors while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor
- Support cashier operations by processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage diet office duties, including coordinating meal requests and dietary requirements
- Maintain organized inventory and supply systems to ensure smooth daily operations
- Perform dish room responsibilities, including washing, sanitizing, and organizing equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to support a clean, efficient, and positive work environment
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma, GED, or six (6) months to one (1) year of previous work experience in a food service or cash handling setting preferred.
- Able to read, write, speak English, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Personal computer and data entry skills, preferred.
