Role Overview

As an Optometric Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting our optometrists in delivering comprehensive visual and medical eye care. You¿ll assist with patient exams, procedures, and follow-ups, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience for every patient. Your work directly contributes to improving vision health and overall well-being in the communities we serve.

What You Will Do

• Assist the doctor with comprehensive visual and medical eye exams.
• Perform preliminary testing and support in-office minor medical procedures.
• Conduct contact lens follow-ups and teach contact lens classes.
• Enter patient data into electronic medical records.
• Provide post-exam follow-up and support duties as needed.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service or optometric tech experience.
• Computer and/or electronic medical records knowledge.
