Job Description
As part of our dedicated administrative team, you'll support the seamless operations of Henry Ford Health, ensuring patients receive exceptional care across our network. Role Overview:
As a Patient Registration Rep, you are the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. You'll manage patient registration, insurance verification, and cash collections, while advocating for patient needs. Your work directly supports clinical and non-clinical teams, contributing to a smooth and compassionate healthcare journey for every patient.

What You Will Do:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect payments accurately.
- Update patient registration and insurance information in our systems.
- Respond to inquiries from callers and customers with professionalism.
- Advocate for patients to ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing.
Preferred:
- One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, or insurance verification in a healthcare setting.
- EPIC training or experience.
