Role Overview

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids, utilizing manual techniques and advanced laboratory instruments. Your work directly supports healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients, making your role essential to the delivery of accurate and timely medical care.

  • Maintain technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge to support laboratory functions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework aligned to Medical Laboratory discipline.
  • Six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification at the technologist or medical/clinical lab scientist level from a nationally recognized agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT, ASM, AAB, AABB, ACS, or HEW).
