Role Overview

As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you¿ll specialize in performing advanced CT radiological procedures, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic imaging for our patients. Your expertise will directly support physicians and healthcare teams in delivering precise patient care. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards of diagnostic imaging at Henry Ford Health, contributing to better patient outcomes and experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Perform specialized computerized tomographic radiological procedures with precision and care.
  • Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information.
  • Complete required documentation and adhere to departmental protocols.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) obtained within one (1) month of hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech (NMTCB), ARRT(CT), or CNMT.
  • Must be registered in Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy.
  • Additional specialty certifications in diagnostic radiology.
