Role Overview

As a Gift Shop Associate, you will ensure the smooth operation of the Gift Shop in the Manager's absence and provide additional support to the team. Your role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and well-stocked environment for our patients, visitors, and staff, contributing to the overall experience at Henry Ford Health.

We strive to provide a positive experience for all customers including patients and visitors as well a large percentage of physicians and employees.

My goal is to provide consistent scheduling for my team so there is a great home and work transition. 

Schedule is set, and would be Wednesdays 2:00-7:30pm, Thursdays 2:30-7:30pm, Fridays 2:30-7:30pm, and every other weekend 12:00-5:00pm.

What You Will Do

• Maintain daily operations of the Gift Shop in the Manager¿s absence.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Move merchandise from storage to the sales area, including lifting boxes up to 40 pounds and pushing loaded carts.
• Ensure the shop is well-organized and stocked with necessary items.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 40 pounds and push loaded carts.
• Must be able to physically withstand repetitive movements and stationery position throughout duration of shift.
