Role Overview

As a Coordinator -Patient Registration &Revenue Services, you will direct and coordinate patient registration activities, ensuring accurate scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and collections. You'll protect the integrity of hospital accounts receivable while respecting patient privacy. This role supports both patients and leadership by maintaining efficient revenue cycle operations and fostering a positive team environment.

What You Will Do

  • Direct and coordinate patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification processes.
  • Ensure accurate billing, collections, cash posting, and payer compliance.
  • Protect the integrity of hospital accounts receivable while maintaining patient privacy.
  • Assist leadership with interviewing, orienting, and training employees.
  • Provide constructive coaching and feedback to team members to achieve goals.
  • Foster teamwork, cooperation, and trust within the group.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree.
  • Experience as a Patient Service Representative.
