Role Overview

As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive a warm and professional welcome. You will play a crucial role in resolving inquiries, processing transactions, and coordinating services to enhance the patient experience. Your work directly supports the mission of Henry Ford OptimEyes in delivering exceptional care and service.

What You Will Do

  • Greet and direct patients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Investigate and resolve patient inquiries concerning merchandise, service, and billing in person or over the phone.
  • Complete and record sales transactions accurately in the HFO Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Work closely with all HFO departments to coordinate patients' services.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous optical experience preferred.
