Our community-based programs focus on meeting patients where they are, providing care coordination, home health care, and hospice services. OptimEyes plays a key role in this mission by offering comprehensive optical services, ensuring that individuals across diverse populations receive the vision care they need to thrive.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager at OptimEyes, you will be a relentless advocate for our patients, ensuring their satisfaction through exceptional service and support. You¿ll assist customers with their needs, provide solutions to concerns, and support the management team in daily operations. Your cross-trained expertise in optical services will enable you to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

What You Will Do

  • Assist customers with questions or concerns to ensure their overall satisfaction.
  • Support the management team with day-to-day operations.
  • Provide expertise in optical services, including dispensing, optometric assistance, and insurance processing.
  • Utilize operational systems like Acuity Logic, eEHR, and insurance platforms to deliver seamless patient experiences.
  • Complete required Henry Ford OptimEyes training courses to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Previous optical experience and knowledge.
  • Previous retail or hospitality experience.
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency in operational systems (Acuity Logic, eEHR, insurances).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of optical industry trends and best practices.
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within retail or healthcare.
