Job Description
This position is located in Detroit off of West Grand Blvd
Shift - Afternoons 330pm-12am
Part Time - 20 hours per week.
Role Overview
As a Patient Registration Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You¿ll handle patient registration, insurance eligibility verification, and cash collections while advocating for patient needs. Your role is vital in creating a positive and efficient healthcare experience for all.

What You Will Do
- Follow standard operating procedures for patient registration, including face-to-face check-in and preregistration.
- Confirm insurance eligibility and manage cash collections.
- Update patient registration and insurance information accurately.
- Respond to inquiries from callers and customers, advocating on their behalf.
- Provide efficient and effective customer relationship management, instilling loyalty and anticipating needs.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in patient admitting, registration, and/or insurance eligibility verification in a hospital or medical office setting.
- EPIC training/experience and familiarity with insurance payor systems and ICD-10 medical terminology.
