Role Overview
As a Team Lead RN in the Operating Room, you will coordinate staff activities, provide oversight, and serve as a liaison between surgeons, staff, and management. Your role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, addressing staffing needs, and fostering a supportive environment for your team. You'll also act as a resource for procedure-related questions and surgeon preferences, while contributing to the overall success of the department.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate daily activities of operating room staff, setting priorities and addressing operational needs.
- Serve as a liaison between surgeons, operating room staff, and management.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members, contributing to performance reviews and employment decisions.
- Act as a resource for questions or issues related to procedures or surgeon preferences.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless patient care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Two to three (2-3) years of relevant acute care nursing experience.
- Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred.
- Member of AORN organization preferred.
