Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Location:  Remote

Schedule: 8am-4:3pm, M-F, No weekends

Performs clerical and logistical duties for supply and inventory controls. Supports both commodity and non-stock products. 

Experience:  2 years of purchasing and supply chain. Familiar with AP process preferred. 

Responsibilities

  • Manages non-stock inventory, requiring specialized ordering, decrementing and returning.
  • Engages with nurses, nurse managers and other end users to discuss inventory concerns.
  • Manages vendor adherence to established practices, including regularly-scheduled inventory review, payment practices and contract adherence.
  • Works with appropriate parties to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma equivalency - 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
  • Two years purchasing and/or accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Performs clerical and logistical duties for supply and inventory controls. Supports both commodity and non-stock products. 

  • Experience:  2 years of purchasing and supply chain. Familiar with AP process preferred.
