Role Overview

As a Clerical Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by providing essential administrative support. You'll assist teams and programs by managing correspondence, organizing events, and maintaining systems. What You Will Do

  • Compose, type, and transcribe correspondence, forms, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Route written communications to the appropriate recipients.
  • Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email, including screening visitors and handling inquiries.
  • Assist with preparing and facilitating meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Establish and maintain organized filing systems and manage office supplies.
  • Enter and verify data in computer databases, ensuring accuracy and correcting errors as needed.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to perform general clerical duties.
  • Proficiency in typing and using computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database entry and verification.
  • Previous administrative or clerical support experience.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

At least one (1) year of related experience preferred.

Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred.

Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred.

Ability to problem-solve preferred.

Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
