Job Description
**What You Will Do**
- Keep a close eye on patient biometrics and health assessment surveys—you'll be the eyes and ears supporting remote patient care and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Navigate the EHR system like a pro, entering and retrieving patient information with precision and accuracy to keep everything running smoothly.
- Own the workflow processes and keep things moving efficiently—your attention to detail ensures we maintain the high standards of care our patients deserve.
- Team up with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, effective patient support and celebrate the wins together.
- Be the guardian of data integrity and patient privacy, ensuring everything stays secure and compliant with healthcare regulations like HIPAA—because trust is everything.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without externship but with one-year clinical experience within the past five years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with five years of clinical experience, OR Licensed Paramedic/EMT with one-year clinical experience within the past five years, OR Military trained medical personnel with one-year clinical experience within the past five years.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
- Computer proficiency, accurate typing skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook preferred).
- Proficiency in using healthcare information systems and EHR software.
- Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Current driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
