Day Shift - Weekends Included
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Independently performs vascular diagnostic procedures utilizing ultrasound and vascular physiologic testing equipment as ordered by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols and established standard operating procedures. Utilizes independent judgment and critical thinking.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Candidate must meet one of the following credential criteria: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT); Cardiovascular Credentialling International (CCI) Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS); Must be eligible to take the registry exam upon hire.
- Certification (RVT/RVS) must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
- Failure to do so will result in termination of position.
- BLS or Heartsaver CPR AED certification required upon hire.
