Job Description
The Henry Ford Health Department of Psychiatry is seeking an American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) board-certified or board-eligible Consult Liaison Psychiatrist for a part-time position at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
This position provides psychiatric consultation services to medically hospitalized patients within a busy, community-based tertiary care hospital. The Consult Liaison Psychiatrist will collaborate closely with hospital medicine, specialty medical and surgical teams, nursing, case management, and social work to deliver integrated, patient-centered psychiatric care. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, medication management, risk assessments, capacity evaluations, and recommendations for behavioral management and disposition planning. The Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist will serve as the collaborating physician for the onsite psychiatric mental health Nurse Practitioner.

Qualifications
- Must be board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Board-eligible candidates must achieve certification within the first three years of eligibility
- Demonstrated interest or experience in consult liaison psychiatry preferred
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Michigan
