Job Description
Behavioral Health Counselor
Henry Ford Health has partnered with Stellantis to provide premium personalized healthcare to their workforce. We are looking for a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor for the near site employer-based center in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to partner with Henry Ford Health and a large local employer as part of an integrated care team. Our multidisciplinary center includes Physical Therapy, Behavioral Health, Dietitian and Pharmacist support as well as Primary Care for adults and children. Services include diagnostic imaging, lab, and point of care testing.
Completely renovated space with all new equipment and furnishings.
Schedule: Full Time Weekdays 8am-5pm
Summary:
Provides behavioral health counseling services for Stellantis employees and their covered dependents.
Responsibilities:
Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations
Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community
Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master’s degree with at least 3 years’ experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:
One or more of the following required:
· Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
· Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
· Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
· Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted.
*BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted*
