**GENERAL SUMMARY:**

As a Cook in our Nutrition Services Department, you'll get to do what you love—create delicious, high-quality meals—while making a real difference in the lives of our pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. You'll work alongside a supportive team to deliver exceptional clinical and food services in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective way. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and baked goods that delight our diverse patient populations
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
  • Collaborate with the Nutrition Services team to meet patient dietary needs and preferences
  • Keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment where excellence is the standard

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • One (1) year of work experience as a cook.
  • One (1) year of formal training in school or apprenticeship food preparation program preferred.
