Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Location: Warren, MI

Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Front Desk Clerk and become the welcoming face of our Outpatient Infusion Clinic. In this pivotal role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while providing essential administrative support that directly impacts patient care and clinic operations. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure smooth patient experiences from arrival to departure.

 

  • Create a warm, professional first impression by greeting patients and visitors with genuine care, while efficiently managing check-in/check-out processes and gathering necessary documentation
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness by verifying and entering demographic information, ensuring all patient records are complete and current
  • Navigate the authorization process with confidence by obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations and precertifications, while managing medical record release requests and scheduling/confirming appointments
  • Support seamless billing operations by accurately entering, reviewing, and submitting daily charges for patient procedures and services, collecting co-payments, and reconciling reports and deposits with precision
  • Contribute to clinic efficiency by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to your assigned area, enabling clinical staff to focus on patient care

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
  • Medical office experience preferred
