Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Join our culinary team and make a real difference! As a Cook, you'll prepare delicious, nutritious hot meals that nourish and delight our patients and cafeteria guests. You'll collaborate on menu planning, lead food preparation with precision, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation while taking ownership of your kitchen responsibilities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate on innovative menu planning and production schedules to create diverse, appealing meals.
  • Deliver exceptional meal experiences through skilled preparation of high-quality hot food.
  • Champion food safety by maintaining pristine sanitation standards for all work areas and equipment.
  • Contribute to memorable cafeteria meal services and special functions that bring people together.
  • Take ownership of additional kitchen initiatives and duties that support our mission of excellent patient care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience required or graduation from a Culinary Program. Minimum of five (5) years of experience preferred.

Additional Information

Looking at potentially shifts covering 5am-1:30pm or 11am-7:30pm for the weekends.
