Job Description
Shift: Days
Status: 40 hours per week
Get ready to be the organizational backbone of our Molecular Diagnostics team! In this role, you'll:
- Master the intake process by expertly typing clinical histories into our information systems and printing cassettes—think of yourself as the gatekeeper ensuring every case gets the VIP treatment it deserves
- Become a case detective by triaging and tracking a variety of cases and materials with precision, keeping everything moving smoothly through the pipeline
- Bring order to the lab by following our highly specified standard work procedures, ensuring consistency and accuracy in every single case you handle
- Keep the momentum going by managing multiple cases and materials simultaneously, staying organized and detail-oriented throughout the day
Your sharp attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will keep our molecular diagnostics operations running like a well-oiled machine!
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in accurate and rapid data entry with good spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Must be able to transcribe Pathology reports using laboratory information systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Requires rapid data entry with good spelling and grammar, proofreading for accuracy and completeness, and follow-up as needed with customers for missing information.
- Candidates must have the ability to code diagnoses into the Lab and patient information systems.
