Full-Time Benefit Eligible
Shift: Days, 5–8-hour shifts 8:30AM-5PM (no weekends, no holidays)
Location: This is a CV clinic position for Detroit Main Campus K14 and Henry Ford Medical Center - Second Avenue 6525 2nd Ave Detroit, MI 48202
Within the Henry Ford Medical Group, all nurses at our 47 (and counting!) locations strive to provide exceptional patient care every day. - Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates with the health care team.
- Demonstrates clinical competence.
- May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.
- Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
- Preferred experience in the specialty.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- At least 2 years’ experience working with cardiac patient's inpatient, cardiac testing or ambulatory.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS or ACLS per HFHS policy.
