Job Description

Lead the charge in delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care that transforms lives. As a Registered Nurse in our Critical Decision Unit Observation, you'll harness the full power of the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to champion patient and family care with purpose and precision. You'll be the vital link connecting patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring every voice is heard and every concern is addressed. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Champion compassionate, high-quality patient care through dynamic leadership and clinical expertise
  • Master the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans that make a real difference
  • Delegate and supervise care with confidence, empowering your team to deliver excellence
  • Communicate with clarity and passion, ensuring critical patient and family information flows seamlessly across the healthcare team
  • Document care and patient teaching with precision, creating a comprehensive record of patient progress
  • Identify and champion solutions to variances from patient goals, driving continuous improvement and positive outcomes

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BSN preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
  • Health care provider certification (BCLS).
