RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an inpatient pharmacy technician, you'll work alongside our pharmacist team to support patient care. Your key responsibilities include:

• Receive, process, and enter medication orders into our pharmacy computer system with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare medications and create precise labels for dispensing—attention to detail is essential
• Maintain accurate records and process medication charges in compliance with regulations
• Manage drug inventory to ensure medications are organized, stocked, and readily available
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and collaborate with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires a Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan.
• 6 months pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must have the ability use a computer keyboard and type approximately 25 words per minute.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people under sometimes stressful situations, and be motivated to provide high quality patient care.
