Kitchen Designer
We are recruiting a kitchen designer for our clients who are an award winning, family run retail company. They have 5 stores in London and Hertfordshire with 250 staff and sell 22,000 different products. This position is based in a new kitchen showroom in one of their superstores in North West London, where they already have a large bathroom showroom and extensive existing client base in the area. As they are a family run organisation, they really look after their staff and are offering a very competitive package for this role with great prospects within the company in the future. They are also extremely well established with nearly 40 years experience in the industry.
The Role:
Are you a dedicated sales professional with a flair for design?
Do you have the skills and experience to design and sell kitchens to our client's new and existing customers?
As a Kitchen Designer you will play a crucial part in creating a unique experience for customers through our 'Full Circle Service’ from greeting, sales and design, to planning and after sales support. You will be focused on providing a comprehensive design, planning and sales service to each customer both in store and on site visits.
With a proven track record in sales within a retail environment, you will have the experience we require. Knowledge of CAD packages would be beneficial along with excellent interpersonal skills, be a good team player and possess a desire and commitment for delivering great customer service.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven track record in sales is essential ideally in the kitchen industry
- Experience of designing kitchens
- Previous experience gained in retail or customer facing background is essential.
- Experience of conducting accurate site surveys
- Knowledge and experience of using Kitchen Design software, ideally 20/20 Fusion
- Kitchen product knowledge would be beneficial.
- Driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work every Saturday (with a day off in the week Monday-Friday in return)

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven sales results within the kitchen or interiors industry
- Experience of designing kitchens and interior rooms
- Knowledge of kitchen design software ideally Fusion 20/20
- Be able to work Saturdays
- Conducting site surveys
