Job Description
Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: November 2, 2026 - April 30, 2027
Our client, a global management consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their IMEA Marketing team on a six-month contract, providing additional delivery capacity during a particularly busy period of campaigns, events and strategic marketing activity. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly understand priorities and bring structure, pace and discipline to multiple concurrent marketing workstreams. In addition to strong project management capability, this role requires a hands-on Marketing Generalist who is comfortable personally managing digital, creative, reporting and operational tasks where required. This is not a coordination-only role: the successful candidate will be resourceful, self-sufficient and willing to get into the detail to get things done.
The successful candidate will therefore have previous experience working in B2B professional services, ideally management consulting or a comparable advisory environment, and understand the standards, pace, discretion and stakeholder complexity that come with marketing to senior executive audiences. Working across the IMEA Marketing team, you will help turn plans into action: coordinating campaigns, events and operational initiatives; establishing clear timelines and responsibilities; managing dependencies; and ensuring high-quality work gets delivered on time.
You will be someone who naturally brings order to complexity and is comfortable taking ownership of the detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture.
What you will do:
Campaign & Marketing Project Delivery
- Project manage multiple marketing campaigns and initiatives from planning through to execution and close-out, ensuring clear timelines, responsibilities, dependencies and deliverables.
- Translate campaign and event plans into practical project plans, milestones and action trackers, proactively driving activity forward.
- Coordinate delivery across marketing colleagues, agencies, Designers, digital teams, content contributors and other internal and external partners.
- Maintain oversight of multiple concurrent workstreams, identifying risks, bottlenecks and competing priorities early and working with the team to resolve them.
- Ensure appropriate review and approval processes are followed and that deliverables meet the client’s quality and brand standards.
- Support campaign wrap-up, including capturing results, outstanding actions and lessons learned.
- Support hands-on digital campaign execution, including building, editing and publishing webpages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), working within established templates and components, conducting page QA and coordinating publishing requirements.
- Pull and consolidate campaign, website, email, event and social metrics from relevant platforms, supporting performance reporting, post-campaign analysis and the identification of actionable insights.
- Create and refine high-quality marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations, applying strong visual judgement, attention to detail and brand standards to ensure outputs are polished and appropriate for senior executive audiences.
Events & Executive Engagement
- Project manage the delivery of selected client events, executive engagements, roundtables, conferences and other distinctive client experiences across IMEA.
- Develop and manage detailed event workplans covering timelines, invitations, guest management, speakers, content, venues, suppliers, logistics and follow-up.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing colleagues, partners and business stakeholders to ensure events are appropriate for senior executive audiences and deliver against clearly defined objectives.
- Liaise with external venues, agencies, production partners and other suppliers, ensuring requirements, deadlines and budgets are well managed.
- Provide hands-on support in the lead-up to and, where required, on the ground at priority events.
- Coordinate creative production associated with campaigns and events, including briefing Photographers, Videographers, Designers and other creative suppliers; sourcing and booking suppliers; organising photoshoots; managing logistics and stakeholders; and overseeing assets through to final delivery.
Marketing Operations & Team Capacity
- Provide project management support across priority IMEA Marketing initiatives, flexing across the team's workload according to business needs.
- Establish and maintain clear project trackers, status updates and delivery calendars, providing the team with visibility of priorities, deadlines and dependencies.
- Run regular project check-ins where appropriate, ensuring actions are captured, owners are clear and follow-through happens.
- Support budget, purchase order, invoice and supplier tracking associated with assigned campaigns and events.
- Help coordinate briefing, review and approval processes across internal teams and external agencies.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve workflows, templates and ways of working during the contract period.
- Use generative AI and other emerging tools confidently and responsibly to improve the speed and quality of marketing delivery, including research, first drafts, content repurposing, analysis, presentations, reporting and project administration.
- Take ownership of operational tasks associated with marketing delivery, reducing administrative burden on permanent team members and allowing them to focus on higher-value strategic, creative and stakeholder activity.
- Personally execute marketing and operational deliverables where appropriate rather than relying solely on coordination with other teams or suppliers.
Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination
- Build effective working relationships quickly across the IMEA Marketing team and wider organisation.
- Work confidently with senior internal stakeholders, including Partners and business leaders, understanding how to navigate a partnership-led professional services environment.
- Coordinate with global and regional marketing colleagues and specialist teams to keep projects moving and ensure alignment.
- Manage external agencies, suppliers and partners against agreed briefs, timelines, budgets and deliverables.
- Communicate progress clearly and concisely, escalating decisions, risks and issues at the appropriate time rather than allowing them to delay delivery.
Qualifications
- Approximately 5 - 8+ years of relevant Project Management, Marketing Operations, Campaign Management or Integrated Marketing experience, with demonstrable responsibility for complex, multi-stakeholder delivery.
- Previous B2B professional services experience is required, ideally within management consulting, financial services, legal, accounting, executive search or another high-value advisory environment.
- Demonstrable experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and/or high-quality B2B events from planning through to delivery.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and operating effectively in environments where multiple perspectives, approvals and competing priorities need to be managed.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, agencies and suppliers.
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and methodologies; experience with platforms such as Monday.com, Asana or similar is advantageous.
- Experience managing project budgets, suppliers, purchase orders and invoices is desirable.
- Experience working across the Middle East, India and/or Africa would be advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including building, editing and publishing webpages, is highly desirable.
- Experience independently accessing and consolidating digital and campaign performance metrics and producing clear, useful reporting.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools within a professional marketing environment to increase productivity, improve outputs and streamline ways of working.
