Job Description

As our Sales Executive, you run a global business at the forefront of innovation in the energy and maritime sectors.

You develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with Helin's overall go-to-market strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.  You engage with customers to lead the way in Artificial Intelligence and Edge Computing. It is critical that you have already knowledge of these sectors and an active network.

In addition, you bring the voice of the customer and work closely with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, pre-sales and product development, to ensure a coordinated and customer-centric approach.

Your lead generation will be supported by active lead generation marketing activities and an Account Development Associate.

Qualifications

    Who are you?

    Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live and breathe it. This role is both hands-on and on tactical level. You can think both long term and short term and work both levels.

    Next to that you:

    1. Have at least 10 years of experience as individual contributor in an international (enterprise) sales role of complex SaaS or PaaS technology. You need to have worked in the energy, offshore or maritime markets. 
    2. Ideally have experience in a fast-growing start-up/scale-up, setting up and implementing best practices, processes and systems.
    3. Are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations).
    4. Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration or equivalent.
    5. Exceptional English communication and people skills, adept at conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
