What you’ll do

As a Product Owner you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding the development of our product. You are responsible for creating and supervising the product roadmap, which serves as the strategic blueprint for the product's evolution.  

You also act as the bridge between various stakeholders, translating requests from clients, commercial, operations, technical, and support teams into actionable user stories that developers can use to define their work. Setting priorities for new features based on factors such as Return on Investment (ROI) is another crucial aspect of your role.

You ensure that the development team is working on features and improvements that align with the company's strategic goals and have the potential to yield the greatest value.

Lastly, as a Product Owner you validate that the features developed meet the specified requirements, ensuring that the product remains aligned with the client’s needs and business objectives. In essence, you are the linchpin that connects client feedback and business strategy with the execution of the development team.

Who are you? 

Honestly, we don't even need to spell out this role for you. You live and breathe it. What clicks with our team is someone who’s self-reliant, detail oriented, structured and a good sounding board. Plus, having good presentation skills and being able to manage relationships with stakeholders is a big deal, as they are key in ensuring that your vision and strategy resonate with our team and stakeholders. We're looking for someone who gets a kick out of driving meaningful changes and wants to make a real impact. 

Next to that you:  

• Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner in industrial software solutions or automation. 
• Are a resident of The Netherlands and have a permanent work permit (we do not sponsor visas nor relocations). 
• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software development/ engineering or product development or equivalent. 
• Exceptional English communication and people skills, adept at conveying complex information to both tech and non-tech stakeholders.

And it would be great if you have experience in a fast-growing scale-up international environment.
