About the role 
Our Heimstaden Group Asset Management team is dedicated to maximizing the value of our real estate portfolio through strategic analysis and data-driven decision-making.  
The Analyst, Portfolio Management supports the central portfolio team with analysis, presentations, data coordination, and day to day execution support. 

The role is for someone who can pull together information from many sources, make sense of it quickly, and turn it into clear, investment quality materials for management discussions. The person will work directly with senior decision makers in our Group Office in Copenhagen where analyses and strategic decisions are prepared, discussed, and communicated to our board of directors and capital markets.  Additional responsibilities include keeping the team organized, maintaining clean data, and ensuring sharp output. 

You will report to the Director of Group Asset Management and collaborate with stakeholders across accounting, acquisitions, and asset management teams. 

This role suits someone with 1 to 2 years of experience in real estate, investment, consulting, transaction support, or a similar analytical or financial environment. 

This full-time permanent position is based in Copenhagen. 

Job Description

Key responsibilities 

Presentations and management materials 

  • Prepare high quality presentations for portfolio reviews, management meetings, and strategic discussions 

  • Turn complex analysis and multiple inputs into clear, concise, senior management ready materials 

  • Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across team output 

Data gathering and coordination 

  • Gather and consolidate data from country teams, finance, analytics, asset management, and other group functions 

  • Coordinate inputs for recurring portfolio reviews and ad hoc management requests 

  • Help ensure the team has timely, accurate, and well structured information 

Portfolio analysis 

  • Support analysis of portfolio performance across markets, including rent development, vacancy, operating costs, capex, and other key value drivers 

  • Assist with benchmarking, business plan analysis, and performance tracking 

  • Support work related to valuations, JV performance, and portfolio priorities where needed 

Database and file ownership 

  • Maintain key portfolio files, trackers, databases, and working materials 

  • Help improve data quality, structure, and usability across the team 

  • Support more efficient ways of working through better organization of information and materials 

Team coordination 

  • Support planning and coordination of team deliverables 

  • Help track actions, deadlines, and follow up items across the team 

  • Act as a reliable central point for keeping workstreams moving

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has 1 to 2 years of experience in real estate, investment banking, consulting, transaction support, corporate finance, or a similar role 

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills 

  • Comfortable working with financial and operational data 

  • Able to build polished presentations quickly and accurately 

  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment on what matters 

  • Structured, dependable, and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders 

  • Strong written and spoken English 

  • Interest in real estate, with motivation to build sector knowledge and commercial insight
