Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company as a Pharmacy Tech? The Pharmacy Tech will be responsible for the interpretation and data entry of prescription orders, verifying member information on member prescription requests. May stock, dispense or package medication.

Essential Functions:

Telephonic outreach by the pharmacy department such as MyMeds

Responsible for the interpretation and data entry of moderately complex prescriptions, prior authorization processing, and troubleshooting adjudication issues for Part B and Part D medications

Facilitates prior authorization requests from physicians offices to PBM to ensure compliance with Medicare requirements

Verifies member information and inputs data for the pharmacists

Educates members on pharmacy based rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs

High School diploma or GED required

Must have Pharm Tech certification in CA or National Certification

Must be bilingual

At least 2 years of pharmacy experience, or any combination of education and experience

Good computer and written, oral and interpersonal communications skills required

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch)

Pay: $14-$15/hour
