• Answer calls from pharmacies, physicians, and other medical professionals in support of member prior authorizations.
• Answer calls from members and patient representatives in support of member prior authorizations.
• Provide specialized information on a variety of matters relating to the processing of prior authorizations; assist the pharmacist with prior authorization requests.
• Provide support to the Catamaran call center.
• Perform clerical functions incidental to prior authorization activities.
• Compile statistical data. Assist with reports and analyses.
• Assist with reviewing and updating client-specific procedural documents.
• Full-Time; some evenings and weekends may be necessary.
• Other special projects and tasks as assigned.

• HS diploma or GED (job order states proof must be provided at time of interview)
• Clear and active Pharm Tech license in the state of AZ
• 1-2 years’ experience in a retail or specialty pharmacy setting
• Complete flexibility in work schedule
• Proficient with computers
• Professional attitude and customer service minded
• Excellent attendance a must
